Reservations
Reservations are accepted and confirmed with a down payment of $350–$500 on your credit card at the time of reservation. Your fees will include:
- Total Nightly Rent
- $60 Processing Fee
- Cleaning Fee (see “Cleaning”)
- 12.5% Occupancy Tax
Prior authorization for a dog in one of our “dog friendly” homes is required. There will be an additional charge of $60, or a $15/day fee, per dog.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel this reservation, a 60-day notice must be given to refund your deposit (less a $75–$100 cancellation fee). If less than a 60-day notice is given, there will be no refund of the deposit unless the home is re-rented. No refunds will be given for early departure or fewer guests after the home is already occupied.

Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and your booking of accommodations from Cambria Vacation Rentals (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing this site or making a reservation, you agree to these Terms.

Reservations and Bookings
A reservation is confirmed only after you complete the booking flow and we (or our payment processor) successfully charge the required amount. We may decline or cancel a reservation at our discretion, including for suspected fraud, misrepresentation, violation of these Terms, or unavailability of the property. Confirmed reservations are subject to the cancellation policy disclosed at the time of booking.

Payment, Fees, and Taxes
You agree to pay the total amount disclosed at checkout, including nightly rates, fees, deposits, and applicable taxes. Charges are processed by our payment provider; by providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the amount due. We may place a hold or pre-authorization on your payment method to cover incidentals or damage.

Cancellations and Refunds
The cancellation policy that applies to your reservation is the one shown at checkout and on your booking confirmation. Refunds, if any, are issued under that policy and may take several business days to appear on your statement, depending on your payment provider.

Guest Conduct and House Rules
By staying at one of our properties, you agree to:
- Use the property solely for short-term lodging by the registered guests.
- Comply with house rules, occupancy limits, and any community or HOA regulations.
- Respect quiet hours and neighbors; no parties or events without prior written approval.
- Refrain from illegal activity, smoking where prohibited, and any conduct that damages the property or disturbs others.
We may terminate a stay without refund and pursue costs and damages if these rules are violated.

Damage, Loss, and Liability
You are responsible for damage to the property or its contents caused during your stay, beyond ordinary wear and tear. We may charge your payment method for repair or replacement costs. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to your stay or use of this site is limited to the amount you paid for the reservation in question.

Assumption of Risk
Use of pools, hot tubs, kitchens, outdoor areas, equipment, and surrounding amenities is at your own risk. You are responsible for the safety and supervision of any minors or guests in your party.

Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including text, images, logos, and design, is owned by or licensed to Cambria Vacation Rentals or our service providers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute it without our written permission.

Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using this site or making a booking, you acknowledge that policy.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will take effect when posted; continued use of the site after that point constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Platform Notice

Arrival & Check-In
Check-in is at the office, from 2:30 to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and from 2:30 to 4:00 pm Saturdays. Early or late arrivals may be arranged if schedules permit. Late arrivals must be arranged and paid in full in advance. Sorry, no personal checks and no multiple payments.

Departure & Check-Out
Check-out time is 10:30 am, unless prior arrangements have been made. If you check out later than 10:30, there will be a $150 fee charged to your credit card. Always return your keys to the office unless other arrangements were previously arranged. The entire rental will then be professionally cleaned for the next guests. CVR will not be held responsible for any items you leave behind, though we do try to return left-behind items to their owners.

Cleaning
Each reservation is charged a cleaning fee. The amount depends upon the number of people and the size of the home. Any damages or cleaning in excess of the amount paid will automatically be charged to your credit card.

Parking
Please park in the garage or in the driveway only. Please refrain from parking on the street and especially in front of neighbors' houses.

Hot Tubs
Each hot tub is serviced weekly and checked for cleanliness, chemicals, and more. We want you to enjoy our spas, so we try to keep them serviced and in good order. They are not bathtubs, so please rinse off dirt and sand before use, and keep the lid on when not in use for safety and to keep the water clean and heated. Please be conscious of noise at night and do not use the hot tub after 10:00 pm.

Pets
No pets shall be kept on or about the premises unless you have previous authorization for one of our “dog-friendly” homes. There is a pet fee for authorized dogs (see Reservations above). To request approval, contact us at the time of booking. If unauthorized pets are noted on the premises, you will be asked to leave and your rental amount will be forfeited.

Maximum Occupancy
No guests, including children, in excess of the number specified in your reservation shall occupy the property. Guests in excess of the reserved number will result in immediate termination of the occupancy of the property with no refund of the rental amount.

No Groups or Parties
We love our guests, but loud or unruly tenants will not be tolerated. All of our homes are located in residential areas and will not be used for weddings, receptions, parties, or any other gatherings or group functions. Outdoor activities, special events, and noise are limited the same way a full-time residence is limited: a 5-decibel reduction is required from 10 pm to 7 am.
Regardless of the limits, please be aware of your neighbors. They are not on vacation. If you arrive late in the evening, please unload quietly and turn off outdoor lights when you're in for the night.

Furnishings & Supplies
All homes provide sheets and towels. Please bring your own beach towels, as we do not allow inventory to be removed from our homes. We provide only an initial supply of paper products and bath soap; additional supplies can be purchased at our local stores. Please do not move the furniture, as it has been arranged at the preference of each owner. A fee will apply if furniture is moved and not returned to its original location.

Trash
Put garbage in the gray can and recycling in the blue can. You can view local recycling guidelines here. Do not put garbage in the green or blue can, and do not leave bags of trash outside. If you have overflow, leave it in the garage or bring it to the back of the office and place it in CVR's dumpster when returning keys at check-out.
Thank you for choosing to stay in a professionally managed vacation rental. Recognizing that vacation rentals in residential areas warrant special treatment in the Coastal Zone Land Use Ordinance, the Department of Planning and Building has crafted a Vacation Rental Ordinance, after extensive public input. The requirements set forth in these policies shouldn't infringe on your enjoyment of this outstanding resort town.
