There were 3 of us and a little dog and we had a marvelous time. The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for any cooking we did. Only suggestion would be to have a few more big mugs for coffee and some clear stemmed glasses for wine. But none of that took away from our enjoyment. Ate in for most dinners, but had a wonderful meal at The Black Cat in Cambria. The house is located about 30-45 minutes from most wineries in the Paso area so you can have a great day there tasting. The Firestone Taproom and Etto Pasta were wonderful stops for lunch. Altogether a fantastic stay!

We have been visiting Cambria for almost ten years and found this stay to be the best!! Located near Fiscalini Ranch, we loved the views walking along the neighborhood and seeing diverse wildlife- including turkeys!!! Xoxo
My husband and I had an extended weekend getaway and loved staying in this home! A spacious kitchen, huge bathtub in the master room in the garage for parking! We will be back to this home! Next time we would love to bring our grown children as the house was so spacious. The proximity to the ocean was relaxing to listen to at night. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Had a great time in Cambria. This has become my favorite house to stay in, some much so I have reserved it two more times this year. As usual Heidi and Janet treated me like a long-lost friend. This rental is very comfortable, well equipped and clean.

We will definitely consider staying here again, the house was very clean and comfortable, exactly as described online in the perfect location for walking down the (steep) hill to the beach and going for a quick drive into town. Bonus was being able to park in the garage since it was raining while we were there. Lots of nice little touches such as flashlights next to every bed. Nice to have two coffee machines available but we couldn't find any coffee in the cabinets (perhaps previous renters used it up and it just hadn't been replaced?). One funny quirk is the master bathroom window setup -- one might not want to take a shower or a bath at nighttime as the neighbor's can see your outline with the lights behind you. But overall a wonderful rental and would definitely come back!

Very enjoyable weekend, comfy house with nice amenities.

The house is comfortable enough, with a king in the master, a queen in the 2nd bedroom, and two twins in the 3rd. We used the "TV room" for our grandbaby in his portable crib. It was a good house for us because I did not feel worried about precious knick knacks or pristine furniture. It just felt relaxed, in that regard. The Master is on the second floor with the kitchen, dining, and living area. The other rooms are on the first floor. Apparently, you can hear people walking around and cupboards opening and closing very well when in those rooms. There is a deck with a table and chairs for outside dining, which we used only once and in the middle of the day because evenings were chilly when we were there. The back yard is not much to speak of, but worked well for the dog. The view of the ocean is a peek-a-boo view. At night in the master you can hear the waves crashing in the distance. We did one walk to the coast, but with the little ones it was a push because the street is very steep, the climb home being tough for some of our group. There is a beautiful community park called Shamel within walking or a short drive distance. The beach is right there, too, but is NOT a swimming beach. Very steep and under tows. There are lots of beautiful rocks to rummage through for jade, jasper, and agate. The best beach is Moonstone Beach. The boardwalk along the cliff above the beach is perfect for an easy stroll and dogs are allowed. The beach does NOT allow dogs. There were lots of surfers and sea life was abundant. We even saw dolphins in the waves. The town of Cambria is essentially split into two sections, both very cute. Access to fun activities is easy, both north and south.

We had a pleasant stay. The Fiscalini Ranch Preserve is just 3 blocks away and was a great place to walk in a gorgeous natural setting.If you like to walk/hike with a dog you will love it.

This trip was our second stay @ 555 Lancaster. This home is in a great location. Two easy blocks from Fiscalini Ranch Preserve.
The home is clean, though starting to show a little wear. Master bed is super comfortable and you will get a great nights sleep. Open the window a little and you can hear the waves crash.
If you enjoy cooking, make sure to bring your own spices and whatnot. Also bring a knife or two.
Make sure to notice the sunsets from the deck. They are gorgeous.
Cambria Vacation Rentals is great to work with.

If it wasn't great we would not have renewed for 2024. It will be our third stay in this house. Out of some five places we have stayed in Cambria, this one suits us best and it works well for our dog.

This well-apportioned home was ideal for our year-end stay. We especially liked the floor plan as we needed only one floor to accommodate the two of us.

Property was spacious. Good location.
Property could use some easy fixes such as fresh interior paint, silcone spray for noisy garage door, some plastic hangers in bedroom to replace old wire hangers and two suitcase stands per bedroom for guests. Simple stuff.

This was our 7th rental from Cambria Vacation Rentals, and as has always happened before, it was flawless.

My friend and I experienced 6 nights of relaxing pleasure. Great house and we enjoyed it very much. The only thing that I would suggest are new or sharper knives. (I believe that I already submitted an excellent review the day that I left the house(.

This spacious home was perfect for my husband and I and our three kids/friend in their twenties. There is a slight ocean view and it’s a quick walk to the Fiscalini preserve. The house is well stocked with linens and towels and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare your meals. Check in/out very easy. House decor is 90s style but furniture and house itself are very clean and in good condition. I would recommend this house to anyone.

Property was good and in a very good location. Everything was good except the smell. Someone would have cooked fish or something before we occupied and the whole house upstairs where the living room and kitchen were, smelling so bad. Other than this, the house is good to stay.

We’ve been visiting the California Central Coast three or four times a year with a group of friends for over 25 years. Being retired now allows us the availability to visit whenever the spirit moves us. We were quite excited to stay here for a week and have it be our home base as we visited our favorite places. We found comfortable seating for all to enjoy our time visiting, playing games, and working on puzzles. The kitchen is well equipped and we created many delicious meals instead of going out for a lot of meals. The beds were very comfortable and we were able to read in the evenings. We are looking forward to visiting this home again.

House was clean and comfortable and in a good location. Not too far from town. Would definitely recommend this property.

It was exactly what we needed - restful but not boring. It had been 3 years since we last visited, much too long! Visited our old staples (wine tasting, drive up the coast, walking around town), ate at our favorites (Sea Chest, Robin's, Linn's, Redwood Cafe, Main Street Grill, Sandy's, Madeline's) and tried a place we haven't been to - take out - Mezzo Italiano, very good. And, of course, fabulous walks in the Fiscalini preserve.

Terrific location, close to trails, Moonstone Beach, elephant seals, terrific restaurants, and shopping. People are so warm and friendly. And the ocean scenery can’t be topped.

The fenced yard was a plus for our dog. The property suited our needs and we have already reserved for next year.

As always we enjoyed our stay immensely- the location near the ranch is ideal for long walks. The kitchen is outfitted very well- which was good given that COVID conditions made us wary of dining out. Worked out fantastic for our week-long stay.

We had a great time! The home was cozy and had everything we needed. You have peek a boo views of the ocean from the living room, kitchen and master bedroom. We walked down to the beach and we also walked over to the Fiscalini Preserve which had the most beautiful views! We had our fur baby with us and she was able to hang out in the enclosed backyard. We had the best time :)

The house and location were really nice. The only issue we has was that there was pet (cat and dog) hair on the bedding and furniture. We also found lipstick smears on the pillow cases. There was a washer and dryer on site, but not something you want to see. Everything else about the house was really nice.

Good, would have been better if there was streaming services avaable.

The home is in good condition, clean, well laid out. Great for pets as it has a fenced backyard. CBV were helpful in every way. We've been coming up here for more than 20 years and have rented various properties over time and have always been satisfied. Love that we can hear the ocean from the home and that it is in close proximity to the open space for walks. Can't wait to return.

The pull out neck on the kitchen faucet is broke, so it doesn't snap back into place. The couch is so soft, you feel like you're sitting on the floor. But it is so quiet and peaceful, you have to love it. You can hear the breeze whisper through the trees and every bird chirp. It's close enough to hear the ocean at night. It's a good home away from home house.

This is our fifth time with Cambria Vacation Rentals, and out first time during the pandemic. As always, CVA was excellent: information was clear; the home was ready; the COVID cleaning/rental protocols followed. The house is comfortable and well located. It was our first trip since the pandemic, and CVA helped make it a great one.

We've stayed at this house quite a few times and have always been happy. The kitchen is huge and a treat to cook in. It was a very relaxing few days. We can't wait to come back!

The upstairs was the only part of the house that we used. The patio is great but it was a little cold & windy when we were there. The master bed/bath is very comfy & it was nice to have a king sized bed!

Comfortable beds, spacious floor plan, casual feel and well equipped kitchen made this home perfect for our family's thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings. Lots of space to spread out for board games, cards, art or making meals. Movie night was fun too ! Perfect location to take nightly walks along the beach. We hope to be back soon.

Jone (CVR) is very sweet and easy to talk with. Although CVR listened and made ammends, the house was filthy (deep cleaning issues) and not well maintained, carpet old and dark dirt tracks throughout and much more. Found some dirty coffee cups in cupboards, too. Its too bad, because location was nice and neighbors were very quiet, so peaceful. Moldy downstairs too.

I was able to stay in this wonderful home for a weekend - I wish it was a week! The house was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was comfortable.
