Is there anywhere else to stay in Cambria? No, this is it! Positive: This was our second stay in this house. It is comfortable, has an interesting library leaning toward Greek and Roman literature and great view of deer and turkeys. Quite neighbors and great location for enjoying all Cambria has on offer. Negative: The closet door in the bunk bed bedroom was inoperative. The lighting in that bedroom was just one small table lamp. While the kitchen is well appointed with utensils adding tea bags or instant coffee would be really nice

As always our stay was fantastic. CVR really does go above and beyond to accommodate their guests and this property like others I’ve stayed at with CVR was immaculate, comfortable and welcoming. Customer service is amazing. The area quiet and peaceful. Huge lot to see turkeys and deer all day. Easy parking. Master bed is so comfy!

This gem kept us warm and cozy during stormy weather.It felt very familiar and we were quite content . Break in the weather had us walking the beach and hiking Fiscalini ranch.Christmas Eve dinner in town. The house kitchen had everything we needed to create our own meals the rest of the week.Easy to come ,a bit hard to leave.

Fantastic rainy getaway to Merlyn! We had the best time, from relaxing by the cozy fireplace to unwinding in the outdoor spa. The place has all the accommodations you could need and is full of charm. We cooked delicious dinners and made the most of the warm, inviting space. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot to spend a rainy, cold weekend!

What a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Feels like you’re at the top of Cambria. Hot tub was a complete bonus. Well appointed kitchen. Comfy beds and the fireplace was so cozy in the mornings. Can’t wait to come back soon.

We had never stayed up on Lodge Hill before but found it very pleasant. So quiet, surrounded by trees and wildlife and extremely close to town and the shore. Makes for a perfect getaway!

We stay in Cambria about every 4months. Since my husband is busy at the recording studio I was looking for a nice quiet place to view wild life and the ocean. This house fit the bill. I just loved the wild turkeys and the deer. The inside of the house was very nice. We will visit here again.

The home had everything we needed to enjoy our annual sister trip. Very quiet and peaceful up on Lodge Hill. It was amazing watching the fog roll in and out from the relaxing hot tub.

Overall, we had a nice stay. The property was clean and tidy, and there was even a view of the coastline. My only complaint is there is no garage door opener and remote for simple inside garage parking. In addition, the spa cover needs a lift support to easily move the cover up and out of the way. However, the pricing for the rental still makes this a solid value.

From check in to check out, our stay was everything we could've hoped for. The house was clean,the beds comfy,and the hot tub perfect for early morning and evening soaks. We'd definitely return.

We’ve stayed at this particular home twice as it is walking distance to family members living in Cambria. Very clean....spotless. Beds were VERY comfortable. Lots of local fauna....deer in the adjoining lots, lots of Jays, turkeys and a very regal golden eagle. A joy to relax and recharge in.

The home was very comfortable and filled with natural light. It is a very quiet neighborhood which brought us a lot of peaceful days. We enjoyed seeing the deer and wild turkeys everyday.

While we spent little time at the rental house it worked very well for hitting the basics. My only small issue was with there being no coffee. Usually at least a starter amount is available. That is a very small issue and would not stop me from renting this place again.

The house was spotless, the kitchen was roomy, and easy to use with plenty of dishes, utensils, appliances and cookware. The rooms are large, the beds comfy—in fact, we enjoyed the house so much we never went into town at all. We’re definitely coming back.

We really enjoy staying at the Merlyn house! We visit Cambria every year.

Great escape from the valley heat, and great private cozy house with a view. We had a wonderful time and the neighbors were very friendly. A great place to see the wild turkeys and deer. And good for walking! I wish I were there so I would get my daily hill walk!

Very clean, VERY comfortable accommodations. Surrounded by a large green lot, very private but also very friendly neighbors. It was very relaxing and rejuvenating.

The location has a relaxed, woodsy vibe. Fun to see families of deer and wild turkeys in the yard! House has plenty of counter space for meals and the jacuzzi tub is a great way to wind down.

It was wonderful, in that the area was quite quiet, peaceful, beautiful. The fireplace was lovely. The fresh air, trees, and small view of the water, from the upper balcony, was nice. The proximity to Cambria Main St was perfect. Beautiful spots of wildlife. Conversely, the threat of a surcharge for things like "using too many towels" or "moving furniture" was not fun to have to worry about, particularly when we pay so much to stay. No sustained front porch light made it VERY difficult / scary to navigate at nighttime. The patio furniture is so old it's close to breaking when you sit on it. No A/C during a heatwave was tough, especially in the master bedroom. The house feels quite old, too, and sparsely decorated. If you are looking for something more modern, this isn't the place. It has an older cabin feel with an overall look that comes out of the 70's. A HUGE disappointment for us was the constant request to have the jacuzzi serviced when we were there. It wasn't ready, despite asking beforehand. We were in such need of that full body care - a huge reason why we chose the place - but the water was murky and filled with dust, dirt, particles. By the time it was serviced, fully, we had to go.

Being in Cambria is always good. The home was dated, adequate except for the heat which did not work properly.

Cambria is such a wonderful place to go relax and reconnect. We had a wonderful time taking in that slower pace of life. The house was perfect and exactly what we had been looking for. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Our boys and I love staying at 2620 Merlyn. Very clean, kitchen works great, which is important when you have 3 boys, in a quiet area, and location is just right. Not on the beach, which is too expensive, but close enough that beach, woods and town is nearby. We have stayed here several times before and already have plans to stay here again. :)

We enjoyed our stay here. The spa was lovely and everything was clean. The house could use some updating and TLC but is still overall a nice place. Short drive to the Ranch Preserve trails, the beach and downtown. We enjoyed the wildlife and the quietness while staying here.

You can tell the house has not been rented in a while with some dust and cobwebs inside. Over all it was more comfortable than a hotel.

We had a great time at this 3 bedroom. All the beds were comfortable and we had no complaints.

We had a great time staying in this home in Cambria. The home was laid out very well. The staff at Cambria Vacation Rentals is outstanding. We loved the location. I like a little elbow room and this location provides that. The fireplace is great! I loved it. We also enjoyed the Jacuzzi. There was a minor problem with housekeeping. But, all in all, we enjoyed it and would go there again.

This is our second time in this house, and we really enjoy the location.
