All was smooth ... just as described. Block from the beach. Clean place. Our family had another house on Sherwood, so we were walking to-and-fro. Cute neighborhood ... lots of people out walking regularly.

We absolutely LOVED staying in this home. It was clean, comfortable, well kept with a great deck overlooking the beautiful Pacific, just steps from the beach and Fiscalini Preserve. Super pleasant and relaxing. We'll be back!

This is a wonderful small house with the perfect location for walking and ocean viewing. Well equipped, comfortable, cozy, and immaculately clean we enjoyed our three day stay and look forward to a return visit soon.

This was a great place to stay. You can see the ocean from the balcony. It is just a one block walk to access the beach. The beach is very rocky and most suitable for just exploring. The house seems to be newly remodeled and in great condition. The kitchen and living area are upstairs so you do use the stairs a lot.

This was the perfect location for us. Especially for the two of us it was the perfect sized house. We hiked the trails, enjoying seeing the seals on the rocks. We went to Ragged Point, Piedras Blancas lighthouse, and saw the elephant seals. We went to Hearst Castle and did a tour we hadn't done before. We walked to Moonstone Beach a couple of days and lunched and looked in the tide pools. The house deck is amazing! The ocean is right there! We hope to come back as it was so relaxing and enjoyable!! Visited our favorite Linn's restaurant seveeral times too!!

I love this place because you can sit out on the balcony patio and soak in the view and the sounds of the ocean. It is a minute walk to the ocean’s edge. Everything was very clean and organized. The only complaint o have is the king sized bed was really uncomfortable for me. It’s very hard and hurt my old lady back. Otherwise, everything was wonderful.

This home was just what we needed and was just as advertised. Having stayed a few other places in Cambria, this home was just what we expected at this price point. Perfect for two people or small family and an ideal location for walks and access to town. Would happily rent again.

Couldn’t be better!

This house is well maintained and stocked with what we needed for a week. It has one large main bedroom with a TV and adjoining full bathroom, a small sitting room with a couch bed, and a laundry room on the ground level. A steep staircase leads up to an open floor living, dining and kitchen area with a guest bathroom (no shower). We were very comfortable there. The house is in a wealthy and very quiet neighborhood, where the only sound at night is the waves hitting the nearby rocky shore. There is little light pollution, so we enjoyed viewing the night sky filled with stars from the upper deck, and we could even see the Milky Way. There are hiking trails and dramatic views from the cliffs in the adjacent Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. There isn’t a straight route into town, where the nearest restaurants and shops are on Main Street. The town is about a five-minute drive away, which is partly through hilly, winding roads (drive carefully as many deer roam and run day and night), so consider whether the distance and time are worth the quiet and views.

We had a very nice stay and loved Cambria and what it has to offer. We loved seeing and hearing the ocean from our patio. The neighborhood was quiet and nicely located by the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve.We would definitely consider the same house again, but would also look at others in the area.

We had a fabulous week long stay at 2116 Windsor. Perfect location and view. We even used the telescope to see whales! The house was super clean on arrival. There were only 2 of us so the small space was perfect. Would stay again in the future.

We had a delightful time here in Cambria. Located one block from the beach this quiet neighborhood is very friendly. House was perfect for the two of us. Beautiful views of ocean , spacious deck, and a cozy fire for foggy mornings. Loved this place.

It was a perfect home for a weekend getaway.

This was our first time to rent here. This house is adorable, but much smaller in person than what pictures portray. Which is really OK, but there are a few factors that need to be considered. The kitchen is tiny, meaning only one person can be cooking at one time. The living room couch is horrendous. We read previous views about the couch needing to be replaced. Don’t really understand why it is still here..... The couch is so worn out, so uncomfortable, that it makes it almost unbearable to sit on the couch and watch TV. The kitchen could be better stocked. There are an abundance of glasses, but a lacking of basic kitchen implements, like a normal modern corkscrew, a cheese grater, and condiments like salt. We read previous reviews about how uncomfortable the beds were. And they are... But that is not untypical, in our experience, in rentals. An upgrade of the beds would be helpful, however. And in the second bedroom, if there’s room for a double, as opposed to a twin trundle bed, that would be most helpful. Overall, it is a cute little house in a great location and great view. But if you want a house that is more comfortable and more well stocked, you might want to look elsewhere. So when considering the last question: “would you recommend this property to a friend?”, I will say yes (because saying no seems so negative), BUT it all depends on what is important to you and what you define as negative aspects of a rental......

This was the perfect house for the 2 of us though it could easily work for 4. It was a short walk to Fiscallini Ranch Reserve where there are beautiful easy trails along the bluff. We could see the ocean (at a distance) from the house. The driveway easily held 2 cars. It was clean, well-maintained and very comfortable. It was easy to get and return the key.

Looking at the pictures on the website my family and I were expecting this house to be a little more spacious. Also the furniture including the couch and the beds were uncomfortable( especially the beds. They were hard to sleep on). The location was nice just unfortunately we would not stay here again.

This cool little house had everything we needed to have a enjoyable vacation. Our bicycles were our focus, because the riding trails are fantastic, and beautiful. We enjoyed watching the numerous deer walking through the neighborhood, and the only neighbors we saw were very friendly, and super quiet, as they walked their dogs. Thank you!

This house is perfect for two or three people. The view is amazing and the neighborhood is calm and peaceful. We loved the deer and wild turkeys! The patio was a great place to hang out, enjoy the view and weather and relax!

It was a lovely and comfortable place ! We had a great time. It is one short block to beach access and a few short blocks to a beautiful overlook park. Don't miss Fiscalinii Reserve while you are in Cambria. Go at the time of a new moon and see the stars as though you were in a planetarium. ( clouds permitting ) Moonstone beach is also charming. Love Cambria !

Nice cozy clean house.

The only issue I had is that in the master bedroom you could hear the refrigerator turn on and off loudly above your head! The kitchen being on the second floor. Not sure what can be done - but it was very annoying,

This cute house is 200 steps to ocean access. You can see the ocean from the upstairs living room and kitchen. Open the door and you can hear the surf. Quiet neighborhood and easy to walk. Bedrooms are downstairs and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

The time spent in Cambria at the Windsor home was a dream come true. Ideal location and home.

A week in February With a wide variety of weather conditions cash very windy, foggy, breezy and calm and warm. Second time staying at this home - like it as much as first time.The only issue I had was with the Internet connection which for some reason constantly requires re-entering the password. That’s a real pain.

Really enjoyed our time in Cambria. Heidi was so great to work with and was always there for us for questions. She made it real easy to get and return the keys meeting us right at curbside pickup. Thanks Heidi!!

This was our second time staying at this nice small home. It is set up nicely and was quite comfortable. The only downside was the internet connection, which was weak and unreliable. This internet provider requires you to repeatedly reenter the password time and time again throughout the day, which honest gets old.

Wonderful place to stay! Views are amazing, close to a bluff trail, and a short drive to downtown.

We has a delightful time in Cambria. The house was very clean and well appointed. It was comfortable and had a view of the ocean. Short 200 ft. walk to beach access. Walking trails were also close by at the preserve. the town was charming as always. We just walked it but did not do much shopping due to covid.

December is beautiful in Cambria! We took our coffee the few steps to the beach and watched the waves. Beautiful view from the house also.

We had a wonderful time. The location of our rental was perfect, close to the beach with a view from the deck. The house was clean and stocked with the necessary equipment in the kitchen. WiFi was available with cable tv. Quiet neighborhood.

Loved the location and views. Perfect for one person to rest and recharge. Will be back.

The house was perfect! During this Pandemic, being able to cook in your own home without having to face the challenges of restaurant eating was very important to us. We enjoyed being close to the beautiful walks along the ocean and also in the “forest” above the ocean trails. We look forward to many return visits!

This is a comfortable and cozy cottage. We rented it over the holidays for extended family as it was within easy walking distance from our home. The stairs are quite steep so not for those who have mobility issues. There was a leak from the deck into the second bedroom which was slightly inconvenient. Our daughter called but no response. Hopefully this has been fixed. We would definitely rent again.

A great spot that is a stone’s throw from the water and a short walk to the Bluff Trail. You will love the deck and the view. The stairs, well, are steep so be careful.

The locks on the front door need updating, the deck door was difficult to open or lock. Since ther is no garage, there should be security lights in the front. Cabinets need a thorough cleaning! Great location, however there was trash all over the driveway when we arrived, and the agent who registered us says we should have not been able to rent only for two nights? What kind of greeting is that? Television in living room disconnected from internet, would not work.

Stayed at 2116 Windsor for the week. The home was just a block from the beach, which was great. The home was clean and thw kitchen and bath well equiped. The livingroom furniture was a bit dated, but ok. The rental office was very accommodating when they were called to get a TV in one of the bedrooms working and sent someone out the next day. It was a very pleasant experience.

This was our third time in this house. However, as we get older, our concerns over the somewhat steep and slippery stairway and the step down in the front bedroom (it slipped my mind once and I fell) will likely cause us not to stay there again. Some of the furniture in the living room is too large and bulky for the space. The water flow in the downstairs bath sink is unreasonably slow.

Had such a great time. Loved this house. The ocean is so close, we enjoyed taking a walk onto the sand and listening to the waves crash.

My husband and I and our two English Setters had a delightful stay at 2116 Windsor. The house is newly minted, bright with charm, nice furniture, and appointments, and a big deck taking in the Pacific and parts of Marine Terrace. The dogs loved sitting on the deck taking in the sounds and smell of the ocean and neighborhood. It made for a lovely two night visit in Cambria for the four of us!

Great house, clean, comfortable, fantastic location, great deck with wonderful view. Propane tank ran out first night in the middle of grilling and the second tank was not available where it was described as being, but otherwise, we loved staying at the house. Would definitely stay there again.
